that file is sitting next to this page — same as the Yardsticks page. Every entrant's
ID is generated once and never changes — it's what results pages use
to recognise a boat even if its Sail # is later reassigned. Times are never saved in
this file — only the roster.
Edit the list freely, then click “Download entry-data.js” and upload it to replace the file on your site to carry this fleet into next race. If your browser saves it as
entry-data(3).js or similar, rename it back to entry-data.js
before uploading — no need to move it anywhere first, just rename it in place.
The same pattern applies to every results page (e.g. Sprints, Yardsticks) — each has its own Download button to save that page's data. Three steps make a change permanent: download, upload it to replace the file on your site, then confirm the upload on that page — the reminder above only clears once you've done all three, since there's no way to know a file was actually uploaded just from downloading it.
The panel above tracks exactly this, for every page. Please upload and confirm anything still showing as pending. Only unsaved session work is ever at risk — anything already uploaded and confirmed is safe regardless. If session work is genuinely lost, you'll need to re-enter it from your last confirmed upload.
Race entry
Class and yardstick are typed by hand here — no need to look anything up on the Yardsticks page.
Enter either Start + Finish clock times (24-hour, e.g.
13:00:00) or an Elapsed Raw time directly — same as the converter on
the Home page. Type times as h:mm:ss with colons
(e.g. 1:23:34). Clicking into a time box selects its current value, so typing
straight away replaces it — no need to clear it first.
Posting to PointsHCP today? Each boat's Minutes Advantage (from the PointsHCP page) has to be added to their elapsed time across the finish line before it goes into Elapsed Raw here — do that by hand first. Don't also Post this same race to Pointscore, since Elapsed Raw would then mean two different things for the same boats on the same day.
Tick Yes (y) and fill in Swap Yardstick only for an entrant who raced a different sail/class on the day than the one they're entered under. Calculate then works out Elapsed FIN as: Elapsed Raw × yardstick ÷ swap yardstick — see the Home page for the formula. Everyone else can leave those two columns blank, and Elapsed FIN will just match Elapsed Raw.

Elapsed FIN is what you enter into Sailres (or another results program) as this entrant's elapsed time — the swapped/simulated value whenever Yes (y) is ticked, otherwise the same as Elapsed Raw. Corrected is shown only so you can eyeball the finishing order before entering anything; it isn't entered anywhere and isn't included when you print. Clear race entries wipes Start, Finish, Elapsed Raw, Code, Elapsed FIN and Corrected for every boat, ready for the next race — the boat roster itself (Sail/Skipper/Class/Yardstick) is never touched.
Scoring rules
Shared by Championships, Pointscore and Sprints — whichever Post button you click uses these same rules. Entrants is everyone currently in the table above. Starters is entrants with an elapsed time, or any code except DNC/DNS. Finishers is entrants with an elapsed time only. Click a base to select it (it turns green); the offset is added to whichever base is selected.

Entrants/preview above are just a live readout — nothing here is sent anywhere. A DNC override lives separately on each results page itself, not here.
The only place to change scoring rules — applies whatever's set in the Scoring Rules panel above to Championships, Pointscore and Sprints at once. One click, three downloads, no race entered, no boat's results touched. Posting a race always uses whatever's currently set here, so there's never a separate "rules per series" to keep in sync.
Post this race to a results page
Each Post button runs Calculate for you first (so a forgotten click can't
leave times blank), then saves that results page's data to this browser and updates it in
this tab — nothing downloads automatically. Open the results page (even in another
tab) and it'll show up there too. A boat here with nothing entered is recorded as DNC; a
boat on the results page not present here today is also recorded as DNC. Downloading
entry-data.js above only ever saves the entrant list — it never touches
results. Want a paper check before posting? Use Print results further up
the page yourself — it's no longer automatic.
Once you've posted everything for this race, open the results page itself (Championships, Pointscore, Sprints, or PointsHCP) to confirm it's landed correctly, make any Sec/Code corrections there, and click Download on that page when you're ready to save — that also clears this browser's saved copy, so the file becomes the one source of truth again. Before entering the next race here, use Clear race entries below to wipe this race's times so nothing carries over by accident.
Leave Race # blank to post as the next race in order. Give it a number to post out of order, or to re-fill a race that was deleted on the results page — if that race already has data, you'll be asked to confirm before it's overwritten.

Performance handicap series — put each boat's elapsed time already combined with their minutes advantage into Elapsed Raw (worked out by hand before typing it in, using the Advantage shown on the PointsHCP page from last time). Don't also post this same race to Pointscore — Elapsed Raw means something different here.
